working, working

Recently we decided to have the shop open for Sunday afternoons and closed on Mondays. I think it is going to be a good decision....and I am loving having Mondays to get things done during the day. Today I'm working on our room still. I got the ceiling and the first coat of blue on before Joe came home. Last night I put the second coat on and today I'm putting the room back together. I just washed the new sheets and hung them out to dry. Nothing smells better than a bed freshly made with sheets dried outside!
Here's the view outside my kitchen window this morning. I love common daylillies. So simple and so outstanding.
Here we are on the corner of the porch. So nice to be home puttering around and not having to go someplace today.

Happy Monday to you! I have lots of Day Lilies too - but would love to have even more of them.

I think you came to visit my blog when I was fighting with my computer ...hence you got to see some of the pictures of the part 1 story I wrote - but none of the story. If you have a moment - check back as each evening I will be writing more about our adventurous trip!

Good luck putting your room back together. That's always the best part of painting a room. Everything is so fresh and clean and you can do some changing around. My next big project at home is my family room! It's huge and in desparate need of some TLC. The changes I want to make are in my mind, but the energy to get started has not hit me yet!

I love having a day to where I don't need to go anywhere. I hope that you get everything done that you want to. Have fun nesting.

How charming. Even driving by sheets on the line lowers one's blood pressure a notch, don't you think?

I'm planning a day like that...in a couple of weeks....if I survive the next couple of weeks. LOL So please let me know when your bedroom is finished...I'm gonna come sneak a peak!

Almost better than the smell of sun-dried sheets is the picture of them. It is just so evocative of a gentler, slower time.
