Chick Lit Giveaway

I've done some reading over the spring and summer. I almost never read a novel twice, so I thought I'd give you all a chance for some free books. Just leave a comment on this post telling me one of the best novels you've read. You can leave comments until midnight Tuesday. On Wednesday, Sept. 17th I'll draw a winner. The winner will receive all the books shown in this picture.

If this goes over well, I have another batch to give away the next week.

Hi pedalpower! I have to say one of my favorites is Pride and Predudice. Last summer I read three of Jane Austens novels and loved them all. Now I seem to be reading more textbooks than anything else (exept blogs of coarse) but they don't count. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my little blog, you were the first one to make a comment! Yea You! Becky

What a fabulous idea! I found your blog by accident, looking for garden junk, of all things. One of the best novels I've read is Cordelia Underwood, by Van Reid. It reminds me of the serial types of stories that used to be in magazines a long time ago. Great for bedtime reading.

I really liked My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. The Pact was another great book, from the same author.

I'm also a big fan of Stephenie Meyers Twilight series.

Hello Pedalpusher,

What a great idea dear. My favorite... I love soooooo many... I am reading a book now called Bike Week Blues by Mary Clay. (I know not a novel... but...)
I also absolutely adore Debbie Maccomber books... all of them!! I have read all of hers in print!! And Evonivich... I have Fourteen on CD right now!! That is today's book for housecleaning... or maybe yard work today!! (We have sun shining after 10 days of RAIN!!) Yepie!!

Love the book give-a-way idea. I also very seldom read one more than once. So I usually donate them to our public library. I may have to give some away also.

Hope you have a wonderful day!!

The first book I read was called " Remembering the Bones"
"Deafening" is the one I'm reading now and I cannot put it down. You will love them...
We never think to look in our own backyard for great writers, it's worth it!!
Love your blog BTW.
It's late and I must get to bed and let the dogs out.

This is not exactly in the category of "Chick Lit" but one of my favorite novels is "The Infinite Jest." I've been thinking about it a lot this week. We lost the author, David Foster Wallace, on Friday. He as was 46. It was a great loss.
