Yup, they're done! I suppose I should throw them in the wash and dry them flat....I don't have any of those fancy sock blockers...yet.
It's so cool. They fit. And I figured out the Kitchener stitch on the second sock. The first one...not so much. But that's OK. No second sock syndrome here. Not this time anyway. I've already got the yarn to do my next pair. This time with some kind of pretty pattern knitted in.

Very nice. I have yarn to make a pair of socks for me and Jim. Yikes, I haven't really looked at the pattern I've picked out. I hope it's not too hard.
If you could see me right now, you'd see my mouth hanging open....from awe! What color will the next ones be? Or is that a surprise?
I am very impressed. They look like they are identical...this is good! They seem to fit. Wow. Amazing! Congrats to you! ~Mindy
Yeah, with hearing that heating costs are going up 25% this winter, I should be getting out my knitting needles too and making socks for the entire house.
Blessings,
Sher
Well, aren't you a smartie! I could NEVER make socks or anything else knitting or crocheting or whatever you're doing!
I sure like the gingerbread on your house. I know it must take a long time to paint and upkeep, but it's so pretty. My DH didn't want any gingerbread on our farmhouse, so I guess I'll just have to admire yours! :0)
love your socks! knitting a pair of socks is a (distant) dream of mine. I tried to knit a washcloth and failed.
