Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii

Down at the end of the street is the ocean...and such a beautiful place. And breezy too, as you can see!

The colors of the water amaze me. I could sit here for hours...I think if I lived here, I'd find it hard to get anything done. Of course I could draw or write as I sit here. That's getting something done, right?

Walking on the lava rock to get to the spot to view the current flow entering the sea.

Here it is by day.

And here is a video of it at night. Click and watch...it's really spectacular!

Hubby and I were in Hawaii (big island) and Maui three years ago on our 25th. . .we loved it!! Did you charter a plane to see the lava flowing into the ocean. It was really cool to see that. I think that was my favorite part of our trip. I also loved touring Kona, the coffee fields, hiking, the road to Hanna. . . and just about everything else :)

Enjoy your time in Hawaii. . . and don't forget. .. don't bring home the Lava!!@

Blessings,

Sher

Thanks for the link, I saw it also! Such a beautiful place and you brought back such beautiful memories.

I know what you mean about living there and getting nothing done but art. It is just that kind of place!
