I love art, gardening, junking and all kinds of vintage stuff! This blog will have treasures I find, things I have remade into new treasures, cool vintage stuff- and also photos I take of garden art and recycling that I find on my jaunts. And of course it will feature my home...the ultimate recycling/renovating project!

The Dog Ate My Homework
We had a nice little sewing circle meeting last night and I got a few inches of my sock done. Today the dog got bored while I was out and pulled out my knitting. Argggggg! I don't know whether to start over or try to fix this. I'm not sure I can fix it.

Don't you hate when that happens? I find it best to just tear it out and start that section over.
Blessings,

HOw frustrating! At least he didn't swallow it, though!
Oh - I am so sorry this happened - but I have to say that everyone in my office was laughing - picturing the event! Try not to be too angry with him!
You have some nice new treasure from the giveaway that you won. How nice !!
Sure...the dog did it LOL I blame my dog for everything too. :)

Oh NO!!!
I would just start over, less headache.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. If you hadn't put a comment on my blog about your standard poodle's passing, I would have thought it was him. When Margaret first told me she'd met you, I said, "She has a black standard poodle!" I still miss Addy.
As for the sock ... I wouldn't have the patience to try and fix it. Good luck with whatever you decide.
A tip -- use a contrasting yarn and yarn needle to catch the stitches last FULL round that wasn't pulled out. Rip back to your contrasting line and pick up your stitches there.
Wow, great idea about the contrasting yarn! I'll keep that in mind next time. This time I sat down when I was feeling especially patient and carefully picked up stitches with a crochet hook. Some of them were unraveled a couple of rows down so it took a little weaving. I got it down though, and I can't tell where I did it so I guess it's alright!
Sort of a sickening feeling huh? It still happens around here all the time--my fox terrier will be two soon and he'd better quit the chewing soon. I'm tired of buying new hats shoes and underwear ;-) Just found your blog and I love it!
