"To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk."

I love art, gardening, junking and all kinds of vintage stuff! This blog will have treasures I find, things I have remade into new treasures, cool vintage stuff- and also photos I take of garden art and recycling that I find on my jaunts. And of course it will feature my home...the ultimate recycling/renovating project!

Flood Pontiac Illinois
The water is receding and folks are piling up ruined belongings by the curb. I found this video of some boys out in a boat on their street right here in town.

Oh my goodness. I can't believe it. I remember seeing a few of your pictures (the bridges) when we were there last September. I hope you all are doing okay. I know our river is really really high for this time of year.
Wow! I have so busy recently, I have not had the time to watch the news! I pray that you do not get flooded. It is so terrible to have to deal with all of that dirty water!
