I love art, gardening, junking and all kinds of vintage stuff! This blog will have treasures I find, things I have remade into new treasures, cool vintage stuff- and also photos I take of garden art and recycling that I find on my jaunts. And of course it will feature my home...the ultimate recycling/renovating project!

Flood 08
Looking towards downtown. Our back yard. This is Mom and Dad's home.
Living just a 1/2 of a mile from you it is so hard to believe how bad it is, things over here are drying up nicely. Without a car I had NO IDEA how bad it really was. It brings me to tears, it really does! Praying for you guys! WOW
Oh and I never realized your parents lived right behind you, I've admired that house for years walking down the side street twards the swinging bridge! It has so much character!!! I sure hope no one looses too much!
Oh, that doesn't look good! I'm so sorry you and Joe and your parents are having to deal with this. If you need anything please give us a call. So far we have no water in our basement. Our old house is flooded...I'm so glad we moved here!
Thanks for your prayers and concern. Things are actually worse than these pictures show now, but it's dark so I can't get a picture. The water is half way up our patio. And I can't go from Mom's to ours without stepping in deep water. But the pumps are still going and we are counting our blessings. We haven't had to leave as some folks have.
