Blagojevich Arrested

Wow! Many of us have been hoping and praying for the corruption to come to light. Now it is and hopefully our state is on its way to saying loud and clear, "This kind of politics is not welcome in Illinois anymore." You can read the story here.

For now our Lt. Governor is in charge, and I believe (and hope) that to be a big improvement.

ETA: Apparently there is no clear provision saying who will act as governor....how is it possible that we would not have that clearly spelled out? This state has a lot of work to do.

I'm so relieved that he's been arrested. He's done nothing for my part of illinois except trying to shut down amazing parks and landmarks.

Wait just a minute...there's corruption in politics? I hadn't been following Blagojevich (that's a mouthful isn't it), but it sounds like he was deep into it all.

Jenny, it's astounding how crooked he is....and this time it's all on tape. Way beyond what anyone one thought....and we knew it was bad. Really no conscience at all it seems.

What's up with all this corruption? And these people think they are above the law and they are so arrogant.

We live in a suburb of Detroit and you've all heard about our mayor. He's in jail now for lying under oath and costing the city millions!!

Time to clean house and start over. Let's vote in all the inexperienced people!!!

Blessings,

Sher

I don't know what this means for our personal future, but I know for the future of IL it has to be a step in the right direction. Now if only those in charge will use this for good and not evil. Praying, Praying!
