My mom and my aunt went to a friend's farm to pick cherries. They got a bunch and they are beautiful!
This is my mom. She's the greatest. And such a good cook!
Sisters. They're a blast to hang out with. They are both in their 60s and today they were up on ladders in the trees picking all of these. So why don't I have wonderful photos of this? Because this young 45 year old was at home taking a nap. They totally show me up! In my defense, I don't get to be home much during the day any more and when I do....I cherish it and hate to leave my house and yard!
Yum, yum, yum!!! Tomorrow I'll probably be having a wonderful piece of cherry pie with a sugary, crumble top. I can almost taste it now.

The cherries look yummy.
I noticed that your mom has on an apron :)
Yummy! Cherries are one of my favorite fruits.
Ooh, please send some cherry pie my way.
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
I am so envious of you being able to hang out with your Mom and Aunt. I used to do that all the time too. My Mom's family was big on nicknames so my Mom's nickname was "Sis" and my Aunt's nickname is "Bootsie". I still have my Auntie Bootsie and she's the one who taught me to love antiques. My Mom is gone now, but in my heart every day.
I love times like that - when you are doing a project together and visiting at the same time. The best conversations seem to come about.
Looking further down in your blog, I saw the items you pruchased at the auction. I love auctions too, but want to keep everything I buy! The cradle is AMAZING!
I tried to send you a message via email but it wouldn't accept your address so I am leaving you a note here. I am 2 hours from Fort Wayne. Do you want to hook up? Let me know.
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
I love cherries, but I even like that pic of you two smiling even better--you look so happy and so full of live.... blessings to you and yours.... and thanks for stopping by my house in the roses the other day...
