That's what I always said....Crocs are so ugly, I'll never wear them. Well, the other day we were visiting a friend (the one who owns the farm where we got the cherries) and I tried her's on. Oh. My. Goodness. They are so comfy. Better than going barefoot because of the cushy, cushy soles. The next day I was out picking up a pair for me to wear to the shop. And I got a pair for my mom too, because she can never find a comfortable pair of shoes. We've been wearing them nonstop ever since.
My other favorite shoes are also ones I thought I'd never wear. No way was I going to spend the big bucks on ugly sandals like hikers wear. Now that's pretty stupid....since I do hike and bike and my Tevas are perfect for that! I wear them so much they are probably the cheapest shoes in my closet if you go by cost per wearing.
And you know, now neither one of them looks so ugly anymore. I think they're kinda cute!

I felt the exact same way about Crocs until I wore them. I was having foot problems and we were told at the card shop we could wear Crocs to work since we sell them. Now I have a hard time not buying one of every color!
Oooh, now I'm tempted. Especially since I spend a lot of time stepping in and out of shoes to go in and out of the house. I'd heard they were comfortable, but not from sworn resisters.
I've had my Crocs for three years. They're looking a little beat up these days (I love to wear them in my garden and I walk in the water in them when I go to my cottage)but I would never get rid of them. Mine are navy blue because they didn't come in those really cool colors when I bought mine but I love them anyway!
Just happened upon your blog. It's been fun scrolling down and reading your posts!
Love the Crocs!

I just bought a pair of Crocs on our vacation a couple of weeks ago and I wear mine all the time. I never thought I would own a pair either.
Add me to your list of Croc owners who swore they'd never ever wear them! Your red ones are so cute. I'm always in flip flops, but love how Crocs protect my toes when I need it - and they ARE SO comfy!
Do Crocs have good arches? I may have to give them a try.
Be careful, though. I've heard stories about people getting their feet stuck on escalators wearing "holey" shoes. Kids, especially.
That is so funny. I did the same thing. I thought they were awful and then I tried a pair on. I compromised with myself though and went with a pair of mary janes. I now wear them most of the summer. I think your red ones are lovely.
