Daughter's Room

Well, here's proof that we are slow DIYers. Remember way back when...we started working on spiffing up our daughter's room. It used to look like this when she was little, but she's 17 and she as other ideas about her room now. Bright ideas. Very bright!
I like how it's turning out. I made the shades using directions from Two Straight Lines and I like how they turned out. DD wanted something modern, with her modern and the vintage architecture and furniture I think we're getting a bohemian look.
This is just another little thing I forgot to show you earlier. I made some ornaments from old children's book pages collaged onto glass ornaments.

Slow? We are usually so slow that I change my mind a thousand times before we actually finish...if we ever finish a room. LOL

It's a beautiful room! I'm sure she loves it!
